Intro

The following images are a current update about our summer safety guidelines and practices. Our current summer practices will be informed and dictated by the IDOH, CDC, ACA, and CCCA.

Changes may come, and will be communicated to Camp Family regularly.

Masks

Masks and physical distancing practices will allow us to have in-person camp activities with the lowest risk. At this time, we cannot offer in-person camping activities without these practices.

Masks will be required indoors and in other situations when physical distancing cannot be met.

Campers will be expected to have at least one mask per day, with backup masks available.

Temperature checks

Temp Checks have always been a part of the check-in process and will continue to be vital to camp arrival screening.

Campers and adults will be given temperature checks each day.

Distancing

Campers will stay within their cabin groups for the duration of their time at camp. Cabin groups will be limited to 8 persons total.

There will also be physically distant interaction with other cabin groups for many games and activities.

Activities

As always ICBC has a focus on outdoor play and ample mask free times will be offered.

Groups will rotate through each activity, with sanitization in between each group.

Hygiene practices

We will sanitize hands at each entrance, and encourage regular hand washing.

Staff and Cabin leaders will disinfect surfaces like doorknobs, tables, and equipment.

Cabin Leaders will have backpacks with sanitizing supplies and resources needed for each day.

We will stop hand shakes and use non-contact greeting methods.

When to stay home

Please stay home if the camper or others in household are feeling sick, or have experienced any known Covid-19 symptoms recently.

Our full policy handbook will be shared at the time of registration.

Finally

These guidelines are the safest way to continue forward with a plan for in-person camping.

Indian Creek leadership continues to ask for your prayers for wisdom and grace as we plan and prepare for the summer ahead.
